Discovery & Curation
Instead of guessing what you like, we start with a deep dive into your business goals and aesthetic preferences. We analyze your industry, your competitors, and the "Design References" you provide. This ensures we are aligned on the "vibe" before we open a code editor.
Agreement
Transparency starts with the budget. We provide a highly detailed technical quotation that outlines every feature, integration, and milestone.
Our quotations are thorough enough to act as the primary contract if no other document is requested.
This document serves as the final reference for the project’s scope. It ensures that both parties have a clear, written understanding of the deliverables, preventing any ambiguity during the build.Interactive Prototyping
We skip static wireframes and mockups. We believe you can’t "validate" a website from a PDF.
Our team goes straight to the code, building a live, interactive draft of your site on a private staging server. You get to click buttons, test the mobile responsiveness, and see the actual load speeds from day one.
This is Direct-to-Code engineering that ensures what you see is what you get.Refinement
Once the interactive draft is live, we begin the "finetuning" phase. You have two full rounds of modifications to polish the product. Each round can be composed of as many modifications as you may need (design and features) as far as it remains within the quotation’s scope.
Because we are editing the final codebase (Laravel/Vue.js), the site is fully functional by the time we finish the second round.
A website is only as good as its final test. We run every project through a rigorous "Pre-Launch Checklist”.Deployment & Support
We include 1 year of free maintenance with every project. While we offer optimized hosting for peak performance and speed, you are also welcome to host on your own servers if preferred.
The project outcome and intellectual property always belong to you (with the exception of our CitrOnline hybrid solution).
For companies requiring ongoing technical leadership, we offer CTO-as-a-Service to manage your long-term roadmap.
SEO & LLM Optimization
Being found on Google is only half the battle; your technical footprint must also be accessible to AI engines. Because our SEO/LLM optimization process is so thorough, this is offered as a separate service that follows the initial website building phase.
While the website build gives you the engine, our SEO/LLM service provides the fuel. We ensure your brand is the primary answer, whether the user is using a search bar or a voice assistant.
Project & Process
How long does a typical project take?
While every project is unique, our Direct-to-Code approach significantly reduces lead times. A professional website typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from the finalization of the quotation to launch.More complex web applications can take longer.
Why don’t you provide wireframes or mockups?
We believe you shouldn't have to "imagine" how your site works. Static designs often fail to reflect technical reality. By building an interactive draft immediately, we ensure you can test the actual speed, responsiveness, and user flow from the very beginning.
What happens if I need a third round of modifications?
Our Discovery phase and detailed quotations are designed to ensure we are aligned before we build. If the project scope changes significantly during the process, we discuss the technical implications and provide a small addendum to the original quotation.
Who handles the project management?
You work directly with Julien. You get senior-level technical leadership and 24-hour response times.
Ownership & Technicals
Who owns the website and code after launch?
You do. Transparency is a core value at Pineapple Web. Once the final payment is made, all intellectual property and custom code belong to you. You are never "locked in" to our agency. (Note: This excludes our CitrOnline proprietary hybrid e-commerce solution).
What technologies do you use?
We specialize in high-performance, scalable stacks. Our primary tools include PHP/Laravel for robust back-end engineering and Vue.js for seamless, modern user interfaces.
Can I host the website on my own servers?
We typically host on our optimized servers for maximum speed and uptime, but you are free to host the site yourself. In that case, we deliver the final files and database, and setup becomes the client's responsibility.
We highly recommend using professional-grade infrastructure over standard shared hosting to ensure the framework performs as intended.
Support & Maintenance
What is included in the "1 Year of Free Maintenance"?
We stand by the quality of our web engineering. For the first 12 months, we handle all technical updates, security patches, and bug fixes related to our original build. This ensures your site remains fast and secure while you focus on your business.
Do you provide training on how to update the site?
Yes. Every project includes a handover session where we show you how to manage your content. Because we build with the user in mind, our back-end interfaces are intuitive and easy to navigate.
What happens after the first year?
Once the initial year concludes, you have two flexible options to ensure your site continues to run smoothly:
Monthly Maintenance Plan: We proactively manage your site’s health, handling all security patches, framework updates, and technical optimizations. This is a "set and forget" solution where we remain responsible for your site’s integrity.
Pay-as-you-go Support: You can choose to request updates or bug fixes on an as-needed basis at our standard hourly rate. Please note that under this model, you are responsible for monitoring your site and reaching out to us when updates or fixes are required.

What is CTO-as-a-Service?
This is for companies that need high-level technical leadership but aren't ready for a full-time hire. We act as your strategic partners, helping you make decisions on technology roadmaps, system architecture, and digital scaling.
Does my website come with SEO?
Every site we build is "Technical SEO Ready," meaning it is fast and properly structured for crawlers. However, our Thorough SEO & LLM Optimization is a separate, deep-dive service that focuses on keyword rankings, content authority, and AI engine visibility (ChatGPT/Gemini).
Can you help me if my current website is a mess?
Maybe. We sometimes handle "Project Rescues." We can audit your existing code, identify risks, and provide a strategy to migrate to a more stable architecture.
