Challenges
- 01Considering the fact that most of the website’s visitors should be browsing from a mobile device, Lala pasta came to us asking for a lightning fast website.
- 02 At the time we met with Lala pasta, the business model was not fully established yet. Therefore, it was part of the requirements to build a platform that can be upgraded in line with the business model adjustments and the potential growth.
- 03 Lunch break is short; people want to order their favorite food in 2 clicks. Therefore the platform had to show useful information only in an orderly fashion.
Solutions
- 01We used vue.js javascript framework to develop the user interface. Vue.js is a most popular lightweight framework on the market and enables web developers to greatly streamline their code to complete various operations.
- 02 We decided to develop the system from scratch using Laravel framework. Developing a platform from scratch allows scalability in comparison to pre-built systems that are more restrictive.
- 03 We chose to go for a two-page website. The first page introduces the products and services. The second page is dedicated to ordering. That’s it!

- 02 The platform is scalable. For example, if Lala pasta asks us to turn their system into an e-commerce platform in the future, we could keep what we already did and develop the shopping function on the top of that.
